Distracted Driving

As the Vermont legislature takes testimony while considering a range of bans on cell phone use and texting, voters might expect the solons to ask whether these bans improve safety. While it seems intuitive that such bans would improve safety, a recent study suggest they do not.

They do provide our legislatures with an opportunity to demonstrate their concern and the police with another reason to stop Vermont drivers.
